Marianne is an exceptional player from Brazil, an Elder Druid on the Yonabra server, a yellow Optional PvP. Her connection with Tibia began in a remarkable way back in 2005, when she was only 13 years old, and thanks to the influence of her cousin Caio, she dove into what would become a beautiful and lasting journey in the game.
“I STARTED CREATING SEVERAL CHARS ON DIFFERENT SERVERS BUT DIDN’T FOLLOW THROUGH. I LOVED MY CHAR ON JAMERA, BUT MY COUSIN USED TO PLAY ON THE ALDORA SERVER BACK THEN, SO LITTLE BY LITTLE I ENDED UP PLAYING ON THAT SERVER.”
“MY FIRST MEANINGFUL CHAR WAS CALLED -MARIANNE SUSSU- BECAUSE THERE I PLAYED WITH MY COUSIN CAIO, MY BROTHER LÉO AND ME. THE THREE OF US HAD THE NAME -SUSSU- WHICH MEANT -PEACEFUL-; IT WAS A WAY TO SHOW WE DIDN’T WANT TO FIGHT WITH ANYONE; SINCE BACK THEN THERE WERE NO OPTIONAL PVP SERVERS.”
The name of her main character is no mystery; Marianne was inspired by her own name. She explains that, not being very creative, and because she likes to interact with people more authentically – that is, by real names and not game nicknames – this was the most natural choice.
Usually, Marianne enjoys playing in the company of friends, and from those sessions, countless stories arise!
Among all of them, there is one that particularly stands out for being dangerous and, surprisingly, very funny. It definitely shows us that distraction and tiredness are a bad combination when it comes to playing.

UNTIL I ASKED MY FRIEND LUIS TO GIVE ME -100 GREAT MANA POTIONS- WHEN IN REALITY I USE -ULTIMATES-.”
“AT THAT MOMENT EVERYONE UNDERSTOOD THAT I HAD NO POTIONS, IT WAS TOTAL CHAOS! I WAS RUNNING BACK AND FORTH, WITHOUT MANA, TURNING YELLOW AND KEEPING ON SAYING I HAD NO MANA. MY FRIENDS TOLD ME TO USE FOOD AND I WAS TRYING TO SAVE RESOURCES HAHAHA.”

Besides the usual team hunts, the challenges of bosses, and the thrill of quests, Marianne cultivates an extra passion: decorating her houses in the game. A hobby that, without a doubt, resonates in the heart of every charlover!
Talking about Open PvP servers, it’s worth noting that they never really managed to fully catch her attention. At that time, the possibility of being killed by a PK without warning seemed somewhat arbitrary. That’s how she found her perfect gaming environment on Optional PvP servers.
Her main character has a long history, having been created around 2007. However, like many Tibians, Marianne went through several “retired” periods. When she returned to the game on the Gentebra server, her main focus was boss hunting, dedicating almost all of her time to it. But her great adventure really began five years ago when she made the leap to the Yonabra server. There, she was lucky enough to join “team hunts” of four or five players and happily highlights the overall kindness of her community.
“IT WAS IN YONABRA THAT I IMPROVED A LOT AS A PLAYER, I WENT UP FROM LEVEL 400 TO 1150+, WHICH IS MY LEVEL TODAY.”
Certainly, Marianne has many other stories to share; but what is beyond doubt is that she created very strong bonds of friendship thanks to the opportunities Tibia gave her to meet new people, especially her Team Hunt group.

MAGICAL HAS BEEN MY FRIEND FOR OVER 12 YEARS, BUT WE HAVEN’T MET IN RL YET; I MET KERUK AND LUIS THROUGH MY STREAMS ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO; TODAY THEY ARE STILL MY FRIENDS IN RL…”
“… EVEN THOUGH THE GROUP ISN’T COMPLETE, SINCE LUIS IS RETIRED, WE ALWAYS KEEP IN TOUCH. HE WAS SPECIAL NOT ONLY TO ME, BUT TO THE WHOLE GROUP; WE ONLY PLAYED FOR FUN, NO FIGHTS, NO FOCUS ON MAKING EXPERIENCE. WHOEVER KNEW US BACK THEN DEFINITELY LAUGHED A LOT WITH US TOO.”
Thanks to her streams, Marianne decided to expand her content to platforms like Instagram. There, she not only shares her world in Tibia, but also aspects of her real life and her daily routine. She loves interacting with her viewers, which has allowed her to meet more people and create new friendships.
Among her next goals in the game, Marianne wants to collect “golden emblem runes” and, in future contests, she eagerly hopes to win the much-coveted and awaited Duality Doll.

With experience in the Tibian community, streams, and sharing content in general about her daily life, Marianne agrees that Tibia is just a game, and it should not cross that small but significant boundary.
“THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE IS: DON’T TAKE THE BAD THINGS AND FIGHTS FROM THE GAME OUTSIDE OF IT. ONLY TAKE FRIENDSHIPS AND GOOD THINGS WITH YOU.”
As we mentioned before, Marianne streams! Even though she didn’t start at the best time of her life, she was very determined to move forward with this big project.
“MY START AS A STREAMER WASN’T DURING A GOOD PHASE OF MY LIFE, I WAS GOING THROUGH DEPRESSION, AND WITH THAT MY FIBROMYALGIA AND RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS PAINS. I GOT TO THE POINT OF SAYING -THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO- BECAUSE I’VE ALWAYS LOVED MAKING VIDEOS, MEETING PEOPLE AND, ABOVE ALL, TALKING.”
“… I HAD A YOUTUBE CHANNEL DEDICATED TO HANDICRAFTS, MAKEUP AND RECIPES BUT IT HAD BEEN INACTIVE FOR MORE THAN TWO YEARS; I ENTERED A PHASE WHERE IT JUST DIDN’T MAKE SENSE TO ME ANYMORE. THEN I STARTED STREAMING SOMETHING I’VE BEEN DOING FOR MORE THAN HALF MY LIFE, AND THAT I LOVE, IT WAS REALLY AMAZING.”
“I MADE MANY FRIENDS, AND THAT HELPED ME A LOT. I FREQUENTLY RECEIVE MESSAGES FROM PEOPLE WHO WERE SAD AND THEN FELT BETTER AFTER WATCHING MY STREAM. SINCE THEN I KEEP THE SAME PURPOSE IN STREAMING: -MAKE AT LEAST ONE PERSON’S DAY BETTER- IN THE SENSE OF TALKING, GETTING DISTRACTED AND FORGETTING PROBLEMS FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES.”
Marianne’s love for interaction in her streams opened the doors to countless new connections, both in the Tibia universe and outside of it. Her constant trips to her country’s capital gave her the opportunity to strengthen ties with friends like Marotinho and Guinhoo, who faithfully accompany her in almost all of her streams. Her circle of friends also includes Ale Balboa, Emulov Sun, and Wayne Knight, with whom she shares almost 14 years of solid friendship. In addition, Cohen, her former EK before Kurek, and her friend Farck, with whom she still maintains a strong bond today, are pillars with whom she founded her “guild” on the Yonabra server.
We cannot forget Diogo, her boyfriend. Their story began in a stream, where they met, exchanged social networks, and fell in love.
Outside of Tibia, she is Marianne, or simply Mari or Má to her close ones. She is 33 years old and from São Paulo, Brazil.
Her professional journey previously led her through the path of handicrafts, where she even managed two physical stores. The pandemic, however, forced her to close her shops and reinvent herself in the digital world. Nowadays, Marianne works with Digital Marketing.
“THIS YEAR I RESUMED STREAMING AND DECIDED NOT TO FOCUS ON IT AS MY MAIN SOURCE OF INCOME, STREAMING FOR ME IS A HOBBY. I’VE ALWAYS LOVED HANDICRAFTS, ESPECIALLY MAKING SCRAPBOOKS. I CONFESS THAT CURRENTLY I’M MIGRATING PROFESSION, THAT’S WHY IT HAS TAKEN A LOT OF MY TIME TO STUDY AND WORK; AND I’M NOT GETTING ENOUGH TIME FOR OTHER HOBBIES, ONLY TO PLAY AND STREAM.”
