Amy Meow is a Mexican player, a cat lover and a loyal charlover within the game. Dedicated to the noblest vocation in Tibia, she stands out as a powerful Elder Druid level 640+ on the PvP server Talera.

“I HAVE KNOWN TIBIA FOR A LONG TIME, SINCE I WAS VERY YOUNG IN FACT; I DISCOVERED TIBIA WHEN THE MAIN OUTFITS NOWADAYS ARE THE -RETROS-; AND I LEARNED ABOUT THE GAME THANKS TO MY BROTHER, ALTHOUGH I NEVER REALLY GOT PAST LEVEL 10 BECAUSE I’VE QUIT SEVERAL TIMES.”

WHEN I RETURNED TO PLAY TIBIA, THE SERVER ZANERA STILL EXISTED; THIS WAS AROUND 2011, BUT I STARTED UNIVERSITY AND COULDN’T CONTINUE PLAYING BECAUSE I NEEDED TO FOCUS ON MY STUDIES… I STARTED PLAYING “PROPERLY” AFTER MY FRIEND -NINA MEOW-, WHOM I HAD PREVIOUSLY MET ON THE ZANERA SERVER, CONVINCED ME TO PLAY AGAIN, BUT THIS TIME ON THE SERVER FIRMERA IN 2018; SINCE THEN, IT HAS BEEN 8 YEARS WITHOUT STOPPING PLAYING!”

Amy doesn’t remember the name of her first character, but she clearly remembers the old versions of Tibia, when it was possible to lure cyclops all the way to the Depot in Thais. Back then, those giants were everyone’s nightmare!

Although today she is known on social media as Amy Meow, her identity has evolved alongside the game. It all started in 2016, when her brother invited her to a Non-PvP server. At that time, she went by Ale Meow, combining her real name (Alejandra) with her love for cats.

After some time away, her friend Nina Meow encouraged her to return on a Retro-PvP server (the current Firmera). Since her main in-game name was already taken, she decided to take inspiration from the character Amy Rose from a game and adopted the name Amy. By joining the guild "Meows" and sharing that feline passion with her group, her artistic name became Amy Meow. And although she still holds a special affection for “Ale Meow,” Amy has become the talented Elder Druid we all know today.

Recently, Weekly Task were implemented in the Winter Update 2025, and since then Amy has been completing them weekly; she finds them entertaining and they have helped her level up in some way.

“I THINK IT’S A GOOD WAY TO LEVEL UP FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T DEDICATE MUCH TIME TO PLAYING TIBIA; AMONG OTHER ACTIVITIES, I LIKE DOING BOSSES, ACHIEVEMENTS, PARTICIPATING IN EVENTS, AND FROM TIME TO TIME DECORATING MY HOUSE.”

One of the experiences Amy remembers the most was a moment of total tension, when she was part of a real “massacre” in a retro-pvp.

“WHEN DDD PINDA SAID THE FAMOUS PHRASE: -BORA QUE É MASACRE BRASIL, BRASIL, P**A!- I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT MOMENT.”

On PvP servers, facing the enemy is almost an obligation when you belong to a 'dominant guild', and although Amy wasn’t always attracted to PvP itself, she had to participate to secure her right to hunt, whether alone or in a team. It was precisely during the war between -Supremacía and Dinastía de Perrones- where she discovered a much more entertaining way to interact with her environment.

“... I HAVE TO SAY THESE WERE SOME OF THE MOST FUN MOMENTS I’VE HAD IN THE GAME; THANKS TO THAT WAR, I DISCOVERED THAT PVP IS VERY ENTERTAINING.”

Although PvP isn’t exactly her thing, she admits that if it were the case, she would love to test herself against players like Bryan (sycerzs) or Vergusz. What truly excites her are collective actions and the adrenaline of team combat; for her, nothing is as fun as the coordination required to 'target' a single objective in the middle of chaos.

“THE 1, 2, 3 COMBOS; FOCUSING A SINGLE TARGET AND SEEING ALL THE SDS KILLING THE TARGET IS SUPER FAN. IS SUPER FUN.”

And clearly, talking about war in Tibia is a topic full of different emotions, and it should be clear that there are limits that should never be crossed, as what happens in the game must stay in the game. Although defeats may generate frustration or anger, nothing justifies letting those emotions go beyond the screen; respect is the line no one should cross.

“I FEEL THAT TO A CERTAIN POINT IT’S NORMAL FOR PEOPLE TO GET CAUGHT UP; AND IT’S A WAY TO RELEASE FRUSTRATION, HOWEVER WE MUST ALL UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS JUST A GAME AND WE NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SEPARATE IT FROM REALITY.”

When talking about short and long-term goals, Amy is clear about her next objectives: reaching level 1000 and having the incredible luck of looting a Ferumbras’ Hat.

“MY GOALS IN TIBIA ARE: REACH LEVEL 1000 AND BE ABLE TO LOOT A FERUMBRAS’ HAT; NOT EVERYONE CAN SAY -I LOOTED A FERU HAT- AND IN THE FUTURE I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CREATE MY OWN FANSITE WITH MY OWN CONCEPT; IF THAT DAY COMES, I WOULD LOVE FOR TIBIA DUALITY AND I TO WORK TOGETHER.”

Speaking about coexistence in the game, Amy holds a firm stance: never give up in the face of fears or others’ judgment; being loyal to your own dreams and persevering until you achieve your goals is what truly matters.

“I WANT TO FOCUS THIS MESSAGE MORE AS A STREAMER THAN AS A PLAYER; IF YOU HAVE THE DESIRE TO STREAM AND HAVEN’T DONE IT BECAUSE OF -WHAT PEOPLE WILL SAY- OR OUT OF SHAME, OR BECAUSE YOU THINK NO ONE WILL WATCH YOU, BELIEVE ME, I THOUGHT THE SAME AND I OVERCAME THAT FEAR; IF I COULD DO IT BEING AN INTROVERTED PERSON WITH MANY INSECURITIES, THEN YOU CAN TOO! YOU DON’T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE COULD FEEL INSPIRED OR HAPPY BECAUSE OF THAT MOMENT IN THEIR LIFE JUST BY YOU DOING IT; AND IF YOU DO, THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO WOULD LIKE TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY TIBIA AND YOU CAN HELP THEM DISCOVER THE GAME.”

After a long time postponing it, Amy decided to face her fears and jump into the world of streaming. Her love for virtual worlds pushed her to break her own barriers, and today she has finally spread her wings to share her gaming journey live.

“... I DIDN’T FEEL READY AND IT WAS DUE TO MY OWN INSECURITIES, I MADE A LOT OF EXCUSES. UNTIL ONE DAY I JUST WENT FOR IT WITHOUT CARING ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE WOULD SAY AND LOOK, HERE WE ARE; AND I DON’T REGRET ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING.”

Most of her stream content is about Tibia; or rather, about how “NOT” to play Tibia.

“I MAKE TUTORIALS ON HOW -NOT- TO PLAY TIBIA HAHA, BUT I MAINLY FOCUS ON CHARLOVING, DO MY WEEKLY TASK, BOSSES, PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS, BUT ABOVE ALL INTERACTING AND SHARING WITH VIEWERS, TALKING ABOUT HOW THE WEEK WENT WHILE I PLAY; ALWAYS WITH A SARCASTIC AND FUNNY HUMOR, AS A NON-PRO PLAYER, WHILE ALSO TRYING TO HELP LOW LEVELS WHO ARE JUST STARTING.”

Sharing your favorite games live allows you to meet wonderful people. It’s the perfect bridge to find those who share your vision, your playstyle, and all those passions that make you unique.

“EVEN THOUGH I’M VERY INTROVERTED, THIS HAS HELPED ME OPEN UP TO PEOPLE, SHOW MY REAL FEELINGS AND CREATE A BEAUTIFUL CONNECTION; IT’S REWARDING TO KNOW THAT YOU CAN BRIGHTEN AT LEAST ONE VIEWER’S DAY JUST BY STREAMING AND INTERACTING WITH THEM; I MUST SAY THAT THE TIBIA STREAM COMMUNITY IS ONE OF THE BEST!”

Stepping a bit outside the game and streaming; Amy Meow’s real-life name is Alejandra, but she is called “Ale”; she lives in Monterrey, Mexico. She is currently a web developer/designer and works for a company focused on the automotive market.

“I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT EVERYTHING RELATED TO WEB AND MOBILE PAGE/APPLICATION CREATION; HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, AND IN MY FREE TIME I CREATE MULTIMEDIA DESIGNS OF ALL KINDS; LATELY, THANKS TO STREAMING, I’VE BEEN ABLE TO SHOW MORE OF MY WORK AND CREATE VISUAL ELEMENTS TO IMPROVE STREAMS AND MAKE THEM MORE APPEALING.”

Beyond the lands of Tibia and streaming cameras, Amy is a creative soul. Among her hobbies stands out her passion for crafts: from drawing and animating to getting lost in watercolor, oil, and acrylic painting. Even in her calmest moments, she enjoys knitting small plushies, showing that her skills go far beyond the keyboard.

If you don’t know her yet and are curious to learn more, we invite you to follow her on social media and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to interact with her during one of her streams.
