FAD Contest


Dually and Litty have gathered once again to celebrate the Fansite Appreciation Day, and this time they are looking for the MOST CREATIVE and REPRESENTATIVE banners for Tibia Duality.
Your mission will be to design and craft by hand a medieval banner inspired by Tibia Duality; you can do it using paper and all your creativity, you must capture the identity, essence and unique spirit of the Fansite.
Let your imagination run free and show your talent by celebrating the fansite as it deserves!


GENERAL RULES

  1. The competition begins at the server save on March 24 and entries will be accepted until the server save on April 15, 2026 (10:00 CEST)

  2. Your mission will be to create a Tibia Duality themed banner, which must be made exclusively on paper and completely by hand in one of the formats indicated in the examples below.
    OBS Please note that it is mandatory that the banner has one of the formats/shapes indicated.
    Banners with formats different from those shown in the examples below will be invalid.


  3. The banner must represent the identity of our fansite and include elements from Tibia, and it may be decorated, painted and/or drawn freely, always respecting the requested theme and format.

  4. The use of digital printing, 3D printing, laser printers or any machine that does the work for you is not allowed. All the work must be done by hand.

  5. You may use any type of physical material to decorate the banner (cardboards, paints, markers, glitter, etc.), as long as the final result is a handmade work and not something bought and added to your piece.

  6. It is not allowed to buy ready-made banners, you cannot use printed elements, or simply glue purchased elements onto your work. The banner must be created from scratch by the participant and decorated manually.

  7. Tibia Duality reserves the right to use/publish and distribute the entries on our social media, website and others.

  8. Your entry may not contain images of explicit violence, sexual content or racist material.

  9. The banner must be made specifically for this contest. Reusing works, designs or elements from previous contests is not allowed.

  10. If you have any questions or doubts about the contest, you can ask/clarify them in the #preguntas-questions channel of the Tibia Duality Discord

  11. Please CHECK CONSTANTLY the #preguntas-questions channel on the Tibia Duality Discord server, there you will find the most frequently asked questions and their respective answers from other participants; this way you will be able to solve doubts and/or ask things that are not very clear to you.

  12. Entries must be posted in the "entradas-entry" channel of the Tibia Duality Discord .

  13. You must upload ONLY 4 photos of the process and 2 photos of the final product, that is, 6 photos in total for your entry to be valid (If your entry does not contain the exact amount and format of photos requested, it will be invalid). Optionally, you can record a video showing your entry.
    NOTE: Please make sure to carefully choose the process photos that show a coherent step-by-step and not just moving objects around to validate your entry.
    If your entry does not contain the exact amount and format of photos requested, it will be invalid.
    IMPORTANT: In case there are any doubts regarding the use of paper as the base of your final work, the staff may request photos, videos or another type of proof to verify its use and validate your entry.

  14. In the 6 photos there must be a HANDMADE sign with the phrase: "FAD - Tibia Duality 2026" (Please DO NOT INCLUDE the name of your character).

  15. No type of editing is allowed in the photos, including borders, text, filters, retouching, the use of editing programs or Artificial Intelligence.
    The use of any of these resources will result in an invalid entry or disqualification.
    OBS: The only editing allowed will be the collage in the 4 process photos, that is, joining several photos into the same image, as long as the content is visible, clear and has an appropriate size so that each stage can be properly appreciated. If you have any doubts about this, please ask in the questions channel of the Discord server.

  16. Your entry on Discord must contain the following information: Your character name and Server.
    IMPORTANT: If you need to make any modification to your post, please delete it and publish it again within the allowed time. Edited posts will be disqualified.

  17. For your participation to be valid, your character must be above level 150, and have at least 100 achievement points.

  18. If you become a winner and wish the prize to be sent to another character from the same account as the character informed when posting your entry, you must report it in the questions channel of the Discord server within the first 12 hours after the winners are announced. If no character change is reported within that time frame, the prizes will be sent to the character indicated when posting the entry.
    OBS: It is only possible to change the character for prize delivery within the same account, as long as the character is unhidden and visible on tibia.com. No character changes will be made to other accounts different from the one informed when posting the entry.

  19. Your character cannot be hidden on tibia.com during the event period; if at the moment of posting your participation or during the contest you hide it, your participation will be invalid/discarded.

  20. Plagiarism is not allowed. If plagiarism is detected or suspected, the entry will be automatically discarded.

  21. The use of multiple accounts is PROHIBITED.

  22. Participants may submit as many entries as they wish but can only win ONE prize/place on the podium.
    (PLEASE: Remember that when submitting multiple entries only ONE of them will be selected to move on among the semifinalists, you should keep this in mind since this could prevent your preferred entry from being selected.)

  23. The scenario or background where the banner is presented will not be taken into account when judging.

  24. The Tibia Duality staff is not allowed to participate in this contest.

  25. The Tibia Duality administrator will react with an Emoji to the entries until 1 day before the contest deadline. This way participants will know if their participation was accepted or not, and the reason. (Please note that if you submit your entry incorrectly in the last hours you might run out of time to correct it.)

  26. Entries that do not comply with all the rules mentioned above will not be accepted, WITHOUT EXCEPTION

  27. The rules are subject to slight changes during the contest period, please stay informed. If we make any changes we will announce them in the #info channel of our Discord.

RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT make your post at the last minute, since you will not have time to correct your entry in case it contains any error. We would not like to leave out any work due to an error that cannot be corrected because of lack of time.

REMEMBER: Your entry must be made by you and be exclusively for the Tibia Duality contest.

IMPORTANT: Tibia Duality reserves the right to disqualify participants in case of plagiarism, copying, purchasing the product, or any other suspicion regarding the violation of the rules.

NOTE: In order to avoid controversies and discussions between participants, messages that are NOT sent with respect, do not contribute something constructive and/or generate controversies will be DELETED from the channel. This also includes negative/rude emojis or reactions to messages and entries posted by other players. We want to create a community that has mutual respect and can communicate in a peaceful way, without the need to attack/aggress or feel attacked/aggressed.
Repeating this action repeatedly may result in a permanent ban from the Tibia Duality Discord

WINNER SELECTION

The Tibia Duality staff will select 10 entries to send to the Forum of Admins from different Fansites and CMs; there they will vote together to choose the top 3 winners.

    What will we evaluate?

  1. The creativity and originality of your banner.

  2. The relation of your entry with Tibia and Tibia Duality.

  3. The manual work seen during the process, The MORE, the BETTER!

  4. The final aesthetics of your banner.

  5. Compliance with the rules mentioned above.

OBS: Please keep in mind that, since these are different voting phases, each one will have its own point count. At the end of the contest, you will be able to check the votes in the entries channel.



IMPORTANT: Please note that using “expensive” materials does not guarantee you a place on the Podium; our main mission in contests is to encourage the creativity of the players.

REMEMBER: To choose the winners, your entry/participation will be evaluated in 2 DIFFERENT VOTING STAGES by more than 10 or 15 people in total, each with different tastes and/or preferences.

    First Place: Golden Trophy of excellence + Rune emblem of your choice + Choose between Duality Doll , Yellow Rose and Blue Sphere .

    Second Place: Silver Trophy of excellence + Rune emblem of your choice + Choose between the remaining 2 items.

    Third Place: Bronze Trophy of excellence + Rune emblem of your choice + Final Item.
